Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2026. Effective from 1 January 2026.
1. What This Policy Covers
TenderForce is a digital subscription service — we do not sell or ship physical goods, so there are no product "returns" in the traditional sense. This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for our Professional and Enterprise subscription plans, and for once-off purchases such as individual document unlocks where applicable. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Free Plan and Free Tool Usage
Our Free plan, including limited free use of AI tools each month, carries no charge and therefore nothing to refund. You can use the Free plan for as long as you like with no billing obligation of any kind.
3. How Subscription Billing Works
Professional (R149/month) and Enterprise (R499/month) plans are billed monthly in advance, in South African Rand, via our payment processor Paystack. Your card is charged automatically on the same date each month until you cancel. You can view your current plan, status, and next billing date at any time from Dashboard → Billing.
4. Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee, directly from Dashboard → Billing by clicking "Cancel Subscription." Cancelling stops all future billing immediately — no further charges will be made to your card.
When you cancel, you keep full access to your paid plan's features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Your account then moves automatically to the Free plan; you are not cut off mid-period. If you cannot access the cancellation button for any reason, email info@tenderforce.co.za and we will process it for you.
5. Refunds
Because a subscription period grants immediate, unlimited access to premium features for that period, completed billing periods are generally non-refundable — this mirrors standard practice for digital subscription services. Specifically:
- We do not refund the unused portion of a billing period if you cancel partway through — you simply retain access until that period ends, as described above.
- If you are charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, a charge after you had already successfully cancelled, or a charge processed due to a technical fault on our platform — we will investigate and issue a full refund for the erroneous charge.
- If you believe our service was materially not as described, or you were unable to access the paid features you were charged for due to a fault on our side, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review your case in good faith, in line with your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email info@tenderforce.co.za with your account email address, the payment reference from your receipt email, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paystack and typically reflect within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
7. Failed or Declined Payments
If a renewal payment fails or is declined, we will notify you by email. Your access continues uninterrupted only for as long as your current paid period already covers; if the payment cannot be successfully retried before that period ends, your account will move to the Free plan until a successful payment is made. No penalty or additional fee is charged for a failed payment.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of TenderForce after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
